About Erika
Hey there and welcome!
I’m Erika Renae, a photographer with over 23 years behind the camera and still going strong! My first few weddings were shot entirely on film, which officially makes me sound old, but I promise I still feel young, haha.
I’m a wife of 15 years and a proud mom of three amazing kids in their twenties. Two are in college and one is making his own path. I’m also a total dog lover with two goofy pups who keep life entertaining.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me kayaking, hiking, rockhounding, or exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest in search of new photo spots. I love the outdoors, plants, and finding inspiration in nature wherever I go.
I’m also a high school photography teacher at the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics, which has been an exciting new chapter in my journey. Teaching the next generation of photographers is something I truly love, but I’m still here for your photography needs.
Whether it’s a wedding, senior portraits, or capturing the beautiful chaos of family life, I bring the same passion, creativity, and fun energy to every session.
