Hello and welcome!
A little bit about me...
First and before anything else...I am the mother of two awesome "not so little anymore" teenage boys, one beautiful step-daughter and the wife of a wonderful man.
Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I really started to see it as a career when my first child, Tristin was born. He is now almost 20 years old and, if you can only imagine, I have snapped 1000's of pictures of him and my other son, Noah, over the years. They are so great at posing for me! Haha! Well, not always.
Years ago, (over 19 years now!) I started out in my living room with a black sheet and natural light from a window. I also traveled the United States for several months when I was younger and always had my camera on hand, ready to find unique and interesting things to photograph. As much as I loved nature photography, I realized that photographing people and emotions was my calling. I love being different and creative, fun and a little wild with portraits and especially, weddings. I look for laughs and smiles, love and beauty... Capturing real life moments is my goal. I do like beautifully posed and perfectly lit images, as well.
Needless to say, I love my job! I feel like the luckiest person on the Earth. After all these years, I still get overly giddy when I get that perfect photograph. I suppose, for me, it will be a feeling that will never get old...and when you, my clients, love it just as much, well, icing on the cake....mmmmm, cake :).
